detail. Their priority was to ensure that our home addition would blend
with our existing home. We felt that their staff was outstanding. I
have never seen any employee go above and beyond like Dwain, their Field
Manager. He took things home to customize in his own workshop and quickly
provided us additional choices and solutions when we had questions. Their
tradesmen were definitely experts in their field - especially the mason who
blended in the new brick so well, that people are surprised to hear that our

"We have used MainStreet Design Build on three projects. With our children
grown and on their own, we downsized to a smaller home in Grosse Pointe
Farms. Although smaller, we still wanted beauty and functionality in our
new place. Steve created an incredible new basement that rivals the upper
level. We have a wonderful place for entertaining as well as space to
play when our children and grandchildren visit. Our second project was to
create a pottery room addition on the side of our home. With wonderful light
from the windows and skylights it an inspiring place to work. Most
recently we decided that although beautiful inside, the curb appeal of our

feelings during our major home remodeling project with MainStreet Design Build.

"We love where we live - but to stay here, we needed to add more space for
our growing family. After using another company for a small addition, we turned
to an architect to design an expanded kitchen and master suite addition.

"This was our second experience with MainStreet (we had an addition built
previously), as and you can imagine, there was only a second experience because
the first was so positive. We had our main bathroom completely gutted and
remodeled (our house was built in 1927); there were a few surprises for the
workers (there is no framing on the outer walls, only a double layer of
brick!). MainStreet does an outstanding job, and, critically, maintains a
schedule---none of these horror stories one hears about where the job is half
done and months go by before work is picked up again! Plus MainStreet helps you
figure out what precisely it is that you want, and then realizes that goal. We
are, once again, most pleased with the result (and how they got the claw foot
tub up the stairs we'll never know!)."

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with MainStreet Design Build. Their crew
was professional and responsive. Their extensive preparation helped to
minimize any "surprises" once the job began. We were especially impressed
by their creative suggestions and solutions when we asked for changes. As
an example, we asked to add a skylight to a room in the middle of the
job. MainStreet provided us with 3D drawings and pricing options
within two days and we were able to incorporate the change without any

home! The creative design and fine details really made the
difference. Steve, incorporating the space from the odd shaped closet

rival those seen in any "Old House" magazine. Christine, you have a
wonderful eye for the right materials, colors, textures and the ability to pull
it all together. People are amazed when they walk in the door and the
kitchen now complements the rest of our home. As it was when you updated

done (Dwain and Mark feel like brothers) and kept the project rolling along. We
